Nora Furnishings Ltd was founded in 1967 by Mr. Andreas Pitsillides. Soon it became a well known company for its quality in the field of home furniture. Having its own factory and dedicated employees continued ranking up in the reputation of Cyprus Market. After a strategic decision by the management in 1984, the company focused on Office Furniture section gaining immediate recognition. Producing its own designs, the company ranked immediately its position as a leading player in this field. Furthermore, the company started associating with Europe’s top firms importing their designs making strong associates from all over the globe. Nowadays, our collection includes except office furniture and chairs, mobile filing systems, theatre stadium and auditorium seats, university libraries systems, wall partitioning panels, low partitioning panels, cafeteria furniture and hotel furnishings.
A well assorted team of in-house architects, draftsmen and planners along with the expertise of our salespeople, interprets and elaborates the requirements set by the clients to fully meet their needs and budgets. From a simple room in your house to a whole building that needs to be furnished, we will be happy to create and suggest a perfect environment and an ideal furniture solution. Our factory with more than 4,500 sq. m. space enhances our words to turn into actions. Latest technology CNC machinery and specially trained employees, provide the assurance of quality production meeting at the same time the client’s deadlines.
Our main goal is the quality of the items we produce and import. For this purpose we implemented ISO qualified procedures, training sessions for our personnel and an after sales department that deals with defected products - aiming to keep our quality to the highest level. Our factory unit and warehouse fully comply with international safety and environment norms and regulations. However, instead of words we let our reputation in the market do the talking. Always sensitive about our environment, every member of our company is trying to constantly prevent pollution by minimizing every negative impact on it, caused by our activities, products and services. All our procedures conform to the requirements of the norm UNI EN ISO 140001 about the environment. We even prefer suppliers of raw materials or finished products that demonstrate the same awareness for this delicate and important issue.
